Hugh Keddy was a man of many admirable qualities, Hugh had a heroic work ethic and a strong passion for family, people and community.  Hugh also had a passion for the game of Golf and in the spring of 1996 began construction on what was to be" Burro Hills Golf Course" which is now "Hillsborough Golf Club".

Hugh enlisted the help of his family and a handful of dedicated locals in what would be a massive undertaking; constructing a golf course, with limited resources, on rocky hills and cutting down trees by hand.  It was because of Hugh's unwavering dedication and commitment and the invaluable support from the community that a golf course exists in Hillsborough, N.B. today.  Tragically Hugh passed away suddenly in January 2017.

We have had countless people express what a kind and genuine man Hugh Keddy was in life and how Hugh had a positive impact on their lives.

It's our endeavour to honor Hugh; that we established the "Hugh Keddy Junior Golf Foundation in 2017" and the "Hugh Keddy Memorial Golf Tournament" in keeping with Hugh's passion for the game golf and the spirit of community.

Hugh was a generous man with his time, knowledge and wisdom and it is because of the many generous people and organizations that support this event that we are able to honor the memory and legacy of Hugh Keddy.

In kind donations can be made in support of the " Hugh Keddy Memorial Golf Tournament" and 100 percent of any monetary donations  will go in support  of the "Hugh Keddy Junior Golf Foundation". All those who donate will be recognized as sponsors at the event. Thank you for your consideration and generous support.
